PrintI am delighted to announce the Pain in Childhood Pre-conference Workshop to be held in Adelaide on 9 April 2017.  This year, the paediatric workshop has matured from a half-day to a full-day programme. View the flyer here and workshop program here.

There is a fantastic line up of presenters on a broad range of topics critical to caring for children and young people with pain.  The morning session focuses on the “complex and chronic”.  This session will include Complex regional pain syndrome, Multidisiplinary Telehealth, and engaging difficult patients and their families.

The afternoon session will focus on acute and procedural pain challenges.

As the finale, internationally recognised local hypnosis and procedural sedation expert Dr Allan Cyna is conducting a 90min workshop on “Practical hypnosis for the busy clinician”
This workshop is integrated into the day but limited to 60 participants, don’t miss out!
