Pick the Brain of a Pain Researcher!

Have you ever wanted to ask a well-known researcher – how did you know this was for you? How did you know what opportunities to say yes to and what to say no to? If you have wanted to ask, now’s your chance! Come to our ECR session on Monday April 8th from 5:30pm – 6:30pm!

This session is for early career researchers (<5 years since PhD), current Honours/Masters/PhD students, and those considering dipping their toe into research (especially clinicians!!). Come to this interactive session where you can ask career and research-based questions to some of the most inspiring and well-known names in the pain field:

  • Tor Wagner, Professor of Psychology, Neuroscience, and Cognitive Science, University of Colorado, USA
  • Professor Beth Darnall, Clinical Professor, Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine, Stanford University, USA
  • Dr Nanna Brix Finnerup, Professor, Danish Pain Research Centre, Department of Clinical Medicine, Aarhus University, Denmark
  • Glenn King, Professor and NHMRC Principal Research Fellow, Institute for Molecular Bioscience (IMB), University of Queensland, Australia
